We got stuck in the rain not once but twice when mama & I attempted our walks. We got soaked in Ladd's Addition this morning and huddled into a cafe until the rain let up. Honestly it was kind of fun aside from the cold and soggy feeling. Later in the afternoon, upon noticing a promising patch of blue in the mostly cloudy sky, mama decided to chance it and walk to the co-op. Approximately halfway between home and our destination, we got caught in another downpour. Good thing we dressed accordingly. We waited an obscene amount of time before it was dry enough to return home. No fewer than two blocks away from the humble abode, mama decided to start snapping photos of the sky and of me, who at this point, was a little grumpy.
All I want to do on rainy days is eat and sleep, the two things I do best...I mean, other than being absolutely adorable of course.
